Gay Rights Isn't Leverage

For most people, supporting gay rights is a very personal cause. Because equal rights and treating human beings like human beings is usually a spiffy thing to do.

But for some people, supporting gay rights is just a way of saying "I'M BETTER THAN YOU ARE."

Seriously, there are some people (notable teenage girls) who just use gay rights as leverage to be trendy and look open minded. And that's a dick move because it's a serious cause that doesn't need to be mucked up by trendwhores looking for a way to make themselves look better than everyone else.

Even worse are the fucktards that support gay rights because they like yaoi and gay people are just omgirlyaoikawaiidesuneeee~! Those people I wouldn't weep if they got hit by a bus.
