I have a wolf fursona but I'm not a wolfaboo wolf furry that goes around saying "ZOMG I <3 WOFLZ DEY R TEH BEZT ANIMALZ ALIV!!!1!!!1111!!!ONE!!!". I actually laugh at wolfaboos who say that XD. I used to be a wolfaboo though, even a weeaboo once, and when I look back on both my wolfaboo and weeaboo days I'm like "OMG! I ACTUALLY THOUGHT THAT WOLVES ARE THE BEST ANIMALS AND BEFORE THAT ANIME WAS SO COOL?!! NAWWWW XD". Though one day I'm thinking about maybe getting a black wolf pelt or trapping a black wolf and kill it and then die it green in some random places and add some fake green hair on top too because that's basically what my fursona is. See? Not all wolf furries are wolfaboos (but some are, and those people I laugh at irl).
If you do plan on trapping a wolf, just make sure that the traps are humane and cause little to no pain, there are lots of traps out there that are considered inhumane-don't forget about permits too (:
Agreed. I really like animals, wolves especially, but despite that, I would absolutely love to have a wolf pelt. I even have a few animal skulls in my room xD. I have a fursona too.
Love this stamp though! It made my day. There needs to be more stamps like this. Maybe one day it will knock some sense into wolfaboos. But then again, it probably won't since they're so darn stubborn.

I always panic over the thought of wearing fur. The thought of wearing fur of any kind makes me cringe. It has sense I was little. but now that I think about it. My fursona's coat would protect me from a hell of alot of stuff lol
People need to stop it with the labels, it's absolutely stupid, and respect the thoughts of others. I don't like hunting for sport, I think it's very VERY wrong. You all going to attack me for bitching? Oh. Probably. Cause that's what people do. Oppose an opinion and get attacked.
"Wolfaboos" have a reason and their own thoughts for being against what they do, leave them alone and let them believe in what they want to believe in, it goes for every person on this planet.
Many people can kill an animal, humans have been natural hunters for many many years. But many people who own fur, respect that animals past life. instead of wasting its lovely fur in a pit or garbage dump.
i love wolves there is nothing wrong wrong with body parts of a wolf or any other animal taken from an animal already dead to be used for anatomy studies but if u go kill an animal to take its body parts and use them illegally then thats when it becomes a promblem & is just sick & wrong.
Firstly, hunting isn't illegal. Secondly, why would you go to all the trouble of trying to make "materials", as you put it, look like a real skin when you can just go out and shoot the actual thing in a fraction of the time and by doing so help the population control and help conserve species that actually need to be conserved? Not to mention there'd be nothing special about a fake pelt like there is with a real one.

You would have a furry and feathery mess there, but im sure gryphons would make a nice blanket *snuggly thoughts* i do prefer the fur on the animal, but a wolf pelt would be a pretty nice addition to my collection of native american stuff. So long as the wolf died for a good reason, not just for fur.
This stamp is awesome, just my sense of humor *snigger*
Seeing as my favorite jacket is leather, my favorite backpack is, and many other of my favorite useful things are leather with fur, this stamp made my day! I have what people would call a fursona, and if it was real I would happily skin it for the sole purpose of making a scarf LOL!

I have no problem with people who choose to have fur anything. I don't particularily enjoy it, mind you (mainly because in my city, they're sporting tiger fur or fur from other critically endangered species because "it's pretty"), but if people want to have some fur around their house, eh, go for it. I don't care. Just don't make me touch it when you know it bugs me (I'm just creeped out by the prospect of touching pelts, cleaned or not xD).
What pisses me off is when people have no respect for the animal whose life was taken for the pelt. And no, I don't mean on the level of owning the fur, I mean the people who brag about how the animal didn't deserve to live and it only matters if the species goes extinct because they won't have an endless supply of their trendy accessories.
I understand what your saying, i mostly buy my pelts. that i KNOW, that died from cars, or died of old age. I really think fur farms are... really gross, to tell the truth. But hunting normal, in our family if you get a deer, is to MAKE sure all the parts get use. meat, skin, and bones. Some people can take very good percussion to it. Respect is a great thing. even to animals.

Exactly, I mean I have no problem with regulated hunting (even regulated SPORT hunting) if the people are humane, use every part, and generally respect the animal, in life AND in death.
I'm not anti-fur, I'm anti-disrespect. The only reason I don't like touching real fur is that I've had a bad experience with a sick and dying pet, and I associate the texture of real fur pelts with it. Otherwise as long as it wasn't farmed or generally wrought by abusive and disrespectful means, I'm more than happy to let you have your wolf or fox or rabbit pelts.
If you have a whole tiger coat though I'll be a little pissed.
