FFRF Sucks v1

(WARNING: TL;DR ahead. I'm in a ranty mood. As usual.)

I will make no bones about it; I think the Freedom from Religion Foundation is the biggest group of hypocrites on the planet next to the Westboro Baptist Church. And normally I don't use the word hypocrite to describe anyone because it's a totally dead word but here it applies.

They're in court suing over religious references every day of the week than ends in Y and for what? To protect freedom of speech? Maybe you didn't notice, numbnuts, but by telling people that they can't say something IS AGAINST FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Read the Constitution, dolts. You sure enjoy twisting the First Amendment to fit your needs and use it to oppress everyone else.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

So there you go. Feel free to not believe or stay home and sleep in on Sundays. You can't tell us what we can and cannot believe in or what we can and cannot do with regards to our beliefs. I'll wear a damn cross to my job or classes if I want to, and you can't stop me.

No, I'm not defending rabid Christians, they make me look bad. Do I think the "fundies" need to tone down their bigotry? Yes and no. I don't like what they have to say, but the Constitution says they can say it, and it also says that I can say I don't like it. We all win.
